Car
The direct route is I-95 to Bangor, then take Exit 182A onto I-395 to Route 1A. Follow Route 1A through Ellsworth, then Route 3 to Bar Harbor. The more scenic route is I-95 to Augusta , exit 113 to Route 3 into Bar Harbor. (About 20 minutes longer)
